A 5-Minute Self-care Ritual When You Need a Little More

Here's a 5-minute self-care ritual that you can try on Self-Care Sunday or any day you need a little extra care and attention for yourself:

  1. Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won't be disturbed. Sit or lie down and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths, inhaling slowly and exhaling deeply.
  2. Focus on your body and scan it from your toes to the top of your head, paying attention to any areas of tension or discomfort. Take a few deep breaths and imagine breathing into these areas, releasing any tension and relaxing your muscles.

  5. Spend a few moments in silence, simply being with yourself and allowing your mind and body to fully relax. When you're ready, take a deep breath and slowly open your eyes.
